I aim to take a holistic, evidence based approach to therapy, looking at the different areas of your life that shape how you’re feeling and operating. Therapy doesn’t require you to have clear answers or a neatly defined goal. It’s a space where you can be honest about stress, uncertainty, or self-doubt without pressure to “figure it all out.”
It is my goal that therapy focuses on making steady, realistic changes while also taking time to understand what may be weighing on you beneath the surface.
I often work with people who find themselves in an in-between stage of life, periods of transition, where change is constant but clarity feels limited. Together, we may explore how your nervous system responds to stress, the patterns you may find yourself repeating, and the core beliefs influencing your challenges.
I view these as tools to help us in responding with more awareness and intention, rather than just coping
Hi, I’m Mckenzie
My areas of focus include:
Life Transitions: Times of change can feel exciting, overwhelming, or simply disorienting. Whether you’re navigating a career shift, a major life change, or a season of uncertainty, I aim to work alongside you to build clarity, confidence, and a sense of steadiness during life’s pivotal moments.
Relationship Concerns: From communication struggles to boundary setting, I support individuals and couples in exploring patterns within romantic and social relationships, with the goal of fostering more understanding and connection.
Lack of Purpose & Direction (Depression): Feeling stuck, unmotivated, or disconnected from what matters to you can be deeply unsettling. Together, we explore your values, clarify goals, and work toward reconnecting with meaning and direction.
Anxiety & Stress: When anxiety or stress feels constant, it can take a toll on your daily life. I offer compassionate support to help reduce overwhelm, strengthen emotional resilience, and cultivate a calmer, more balanced internal experience.
I primarily work with adults ages 20–40 in individual and couples therapy. My approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for trauma, Cognitive-behavioral Therapy (CBT), and values-based work to support steady, meaningful growth.
Additionally, I have obtained training in the Gottman Method of Therapy for couples (Level 1).
